Random People (the best kind)

Me 'n' my buddy ol' pal o' tiger..(must be said rather quickly)

Perdy self explanatory.

Spring Creek

Yellow on green
A lonely [looking] foot path

"Hey look guys! an outhouse!"
"Let's tip it!"
Poodster found a tree branch growing out of the building...and posed with it besides! ^_^

Shadows...(fyi: not posed)

The Trip Down

Waiting patiently for take-off
a very friendly airport personage was obliging enough to snap this shot for me (since I couldn't very well do it myself! *wink*)..of us in front of our tiny little prop plane that took us from Denver right into Hayden.
I know that all photos from airplanes look the same, so i'll only attempt to post one...and it was quite spectacular seeing the way the plains ended and the rockies began...you didn't think you'd escape ONE airplane picture did you?!?

insightful child...

One day the first grade teacher was reading the story of the Chicken
Little to her class. She came to the part of the story where chicken
little tried to warn the farmer.

She read, "...And so Chicken Little went up to the farmer and
said, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!"

The teacher paused then asked the class, "And what do you think that
farmer said?"

Little Johnny raised his hand and said, "I think he said - "Holy Cow!
A talking chicken!"

Untitled

The sky is blue and the sun shining
yet for the weather my heart is pining
I long for the breeze that brushes my face
that freshens the air without leaving a trace

The crispness of air that signifies fall
is absent round here its the heat and the dampness that hangs over all
the leaves stop their rustling and the sound meets your ear
The sky is all cloudy and its rain that you fear

I long for the crunch of leaves underfoot
the harvest time smell of the bulb and the root
The air has a haze from the harvesting dust
The wind comes up suddenly with a great gust

Enough cold for a jacket, too warm for a glove
this is my tribute to a season I love
a season thats shorter than the rest of them all
not spring, summer, winter, but fall.
