Recent and Not so Recent Workings

My first (but certainly not last) watercolor of my mountain. I hate it, but there it is.

This one actually has an origin, and the story could get a little lengthy, but the short of it is: this is my best representation of the top of a gold prong on one of my rings as it sat very close to my (blurry) eye in the sun. You got that?
...And I might have gone a little crazy with the "brain waves" hat...
