It quiets everything, the air is still, and no matter where you are there seems to always be a complete, muted, and somehow warm silence. It is perfect for staying inside and feeling comfortable, great for tromping around in, incredible to ski in, and fun to drive on. And there is always the possibility that when you wake up in the morning this peaceful storm will have passed, leaving every surface cleanly covered in snow or frost, which all sparkles in the piercingly clear sky. There is nothing like one of those mornings, they are indescribably beautiful."
