My first (but certainly not last) watercolor of my mountain. I hate it, but there it is.

This one actually has an origin, and the story could get a little lengthy, but the short of it is: this is my best representation of the top of a gold prong on one of my rings as it sat very close to my (blurry) eye in the sun. You got that?
...And I might have gone a little crazy with the "brain waves" hat...

Thought Process... Bear With Me...

Soo... i am totally unmotivated to take pretty/artsy pictures with a cell phone camera, and both my other cameras are not in working order. It's sad that now when i come here (or look at my pictures in iphoto) the pictures are all bad quality and quite honestly are pretty ratty looking. What's a poor girl to do?? Stick it out with a cell phone camera? Picture posting/taking strike? Put my foot down and demand a replacement for the camera someone *coughmichaelwhowastryingtohelpgetthegraveloutbutbrokeitmoreinsteadcough* owes me (that we can't afford)? What? I miss being able to capture and share all the pretties i encounter around this life. Don't know what to do...

Time for some happier pictures of the boy and other things. Makes me sad to see his sweet face so upset by haircuts. We shall have no more of that for now. On to better things!

I've gotten to be a very lazy blogger.
Honest. If you haven't been following long, i'll have to ask you to trust me when I say that I used to put real effort into this venture. And if it's only half-hearted now, is it even worth doing? In many ways though, i still care about this space more than facebook.. which, while helpful in a keep-you-sorta-connected way, is so very impersonal and leaves almost no room for openhearted disclosure... which i do so much of here (not)...
